transcosmos Korea Inc. (Headquarters: Seoul, South Korea; President and COO: Takashi Sube; hereinafter, transcosmos Korea), a subsidiary of transcosmos inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; President & COO: Masataka Okuda; Securities Code: 9715; hereinafter, transcosmos), has established a new center, which would be its seventh site (sixth in Seoul), and is scheduled to start operations mid-December 2011.

transcosmos Korea provides, in addition to call center business, direct mail and field service businesses in South Korea, with a clientele of over 100 major Korean corporations. Following improvement of the center’s productivity and new business orders in transportation-related call center operations, the new center has been established. Including the new center, transcosmos Korea now runs six sites in Seoul and one site in Busan, bringing its business scale to the total of 3,550 work stations and 2,300 work stations on-site.

The newly-established Jongno Center is centrally located in Seoul adjacent to the city government offices, the area which attracts crowds. It is an “intelligent” building, built in November 2011, close to two subway stations and a major bus route, making the center favorable for prospective employees. The center has already hired 100 new employees in preparation of the transportation-related call center operations which are to launch mid-December.
