The EC builder engine, developed from experience and know-how cultivated through EC operations provided for client companies until now, solves problems for client companies and also streamlines administrative tasks.

“MCM EC Builder” is transcosmos’ unique EC website building engine, which expands and standardizes functions with generally high needs, and is based on “SI Web Shopping” provided by System Integrator, Inc. (URL:http://www.sint.co.jp/), which includes industry standard features. Up until now, transcosmos has provided services ranging from EC website building and operation to advertising, promotion, analysis and inquiry response by telephone, FAX and e-mail, on a one-stop basis as a “full EC outsourcing service” to support sales expansion and cost reduction for client companies in the EC business, and it has now developed “MCM EC Builder” based on job site input and problems. The specific features are outlined below.

Provides Five highly versatile sales models as standard features

Since there are a wide variety of sales models depending on a client company’s type of business, significant time and expense is required for customization. Based on development results until now, elements with a high degree of commonality have been extracted, and in addition to “advance sale” and “stock sale”, “made to order”, “drop shipment” and “periodic sale” are included in the five sales models provided as standard features.

Reduces the operation burden for implementation of promotions on EC websites

Log data, which is central to promotion analysis, first becomes meaningful when “input, migration and purchasing” are connected. In the past, operation involved many cumbersome manual procedures and system corrections, but it is now possible to handle this easily with settings on the control screen. In addition, operations for changing the displays for products and other items, such as screens, messages and banners for each target segment after analysis, as well as the set-up of free product groupings and time sales, can be accomplished flexibly and quickly with minimal customization and operation burden.

Uniform management of multiple channel order data, including external EC, telephone and FAX

Even when operating with multiple sales channels, such as external EC (*) other than an official site, telephone and FAX, the uniform management of order data through data linkage allows easy control of areas like credit and shipping, and also achieves control of operating errors, reduction of costs and increased speed. It also enables extraction of information necessary for outbound calling.
* Data linkage with external EC assumes simultaneous use of a separate ASP service to achieve integration of multiple EC sites

“MCM EC Builder” achieves a functional improvement cycle for EC sites based on feedback from the various operation service job sites necessary for EC, including production, advertising, analysis and management. Direct opinions from operation job sites are reflected in systems from the unique perspective of transcosmos, who provides all of the operations on a one-stop basis. transcosmos maximizes its advantages in order to contribute to sales expansion and cost reduction for its client companies.
