They were recognized for offering a wide range of services to over 100 major companies in Korea, including contact center operations, as well as direct mail and field service operations.

The “2011 Korea Outsourcing Service Customer Satisfaction Awards” are sponsored by the Outsourcing Times (Representative: Kim Yong Kwan), which is a Korean outsourcing industry specialty newspaper publishing company, and are presented with the backing of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy (*), for the fifth time this year. The companies are selected from among Korea’s outsourcing businesses and are recognized for promoting customer satisfaction, with 19 companies receiving awards this year. A variety of different categories have been established, including production and manufacturing, sales and sales promotion, distribution, security, information communication and contact centers, and transcosmos Korea received the award in the field of “Contact Center Operations”.

(*) What is the Ministry of Knowledge Economy?
This is a government agency of the Republic of Korea. It is in charge of official business related to commerce, import/export trade, industry, investments by foreign investors, information and communication industry, industrial technology research and development policy, energy and underground resources, postal mail, postal money orders and postal transfers.

The awards ceremony was held on September 15 for the purpose of showcasing the advanced service models of the winners by discovering and recognizing outstanding companies, boosting the morale of businesses and agencies that contribute to the vitalization of outsourcing, and promoting the development of the outsourcing industry through proliferation of the outsourcing mindset and improvement of competitive strength.
